The UNA Color Run is one of the department’s most anticipated events each spring. With over 600 participants, this family friendly event provides a 5K and 1 Mile course where runners and walkers are showered with purple and gold color along the way. This year’s Color Run is set for Saturday, April 8, 2017 and will begin and end in front of Flowers Hall. The race will NOT be timed, and participants are more than welcome to walk the route. We will also have a 1 mile fun run for children and those who do not want to participate in the 5K. The 5K will begin at 9:00 AM, followed by the 1 Mile at 9:15 AM.
Prices are $25 for the 5K and $15 for the 1 mile until Wednesday, April 5th at Noon. After this date, the registration page below will expire, and you will only be able to register at the event. The price will then increase to $30 for the 5K and $20 for the 1 mile. Only pre-registered guests are guaranteed a t-shirt.
We recommend you arrive 45 to 60 minutes before the run begins to allow time for parking and registration. During the run, participants will be showered with purple and gold colored powder that is non-toxic, 100 percent safe, and biodegradable. We encourage all participants to wear white on the day of the run so the colors will really pop on your clothes! While the powder is not designed to stain, we still recommend that you bring a change of clothes or towels to sit on in your vehicle for the ride home. If you have sensitive eyes or wear contacts, please bring sunglasses or goggles to protect your eyes.

Pre-registration for the 2017 Color Run is now closed. You will be able to register Saturday morning beginning at 7:30 AM in front of Flowers Hall. The 5K will be $30 and the 1 mile will be $20 – Cash/Check only. T-shirts are not guaranteed, but will be available on a first-come, first-served basis until we run out. Parking will be available in the parking deck on Pine Street. Thank you!
