JACKSON, Tenn. – North Alabama improved to 11-2-1 overall and 7-2 in the Gulf South Conference with a 2-1 road win at Union. UNA led early but needed a second goal in the 71^st minute to pull out the win.
 
North Alabama got on the scoreboard first when Chloe Richards scored unassisted in the 11^th minute. It was Richards 24^th goal of the season and the 65^th of her career.
 
Union tied the match at 1-1 at the 64:03 mark when Honeye Heydari scored for the Bulldogs.
 
UNA got the game winner off the foot of Paige Porter in the 71^st minute off an assist from Margarida Sousa.
 
With the loss, Union falls to 4-10-1 overall and 4-4-1 in the GSC.
