FLORENCE, Ala. -- The University of North Alabama earned the right to host the 2015 Gulf South Conference Women's Soccer Tournament with a 3-0 win over Delta State Sunday in the regular-season finale for both schools.

UNA, now 14-2-1, finished 10-2 in the GSC to tie with Lee atop the regular-season standings. The Lions earned the right to host by virtue of a 3-0 win over Lee back on September 20. Pairings and times for the GSC Tournament will be announced Monday.
Delta State closed its season at 3-13-1 overall and 0-12 in the GSC.

The win was UNA's 12th straight victory at home and fifth straight win overall.

Senior Chloe Richards got the Lions on the board in the 25th minute with an unassisted goal off a free kick from 30 yards out. It was Richards' 29th goal of the season and 70th of her career at UNA.

Freshman Kylie Huey scored her seventh goal of the season at the 66:54 mark off an assist from Stacey Webber.

The final goal came from Eleanor Costello with just under three minutes left to play off an assist from Paige Porter. It was Coetello's fourth goal of the season.

UNA out-shot Delta State 22 to four.

North Alabama goalkeeper Shelby Thornton recorded four saves for the Lions.

UNA honored seniors Melanie Leonida and Richards Sunday as they played their final regular-season game for the Lions.
