TROY – The University of North Alabama's offensive struggles continued as the Lions dropped a 5-0 decision at Troy in the first game of a three-game weekend series.
UNA, now 2-10, managed just three hits in the game and had just five total base runners.
After three scoreless innings, Troy broke the game open with three runs in the bottom of the fourth inning. The Trojans then added insurance runs in the fifth and seventh innings for the final 5-0 count.

Harris Kain had the only hits for North Alabama.
Chase Best (0-4) took the loss for the Lions, allowing four runs on seven hits over four and a third innings. He walked two and struckout six.
Kaleb Barnes pitched two-thirds of an inning,
Adam Mancour allowed one run on one hit in one and two-thirds innings and
Garret Gillum allowed just one hit in one and a third innings/
The Lions and Trojans will play a double-header on Saturday due to expected rain on Sunday.
