RICHMOND, Ky. -- Eastern Kentucky got all the offense that it needed in the 14th minute and the Colonels road that early goal to a 3-0 women's soccer win over North Alabama in ASUN Conference play.
UNA, now 2-10-2 overall and 1-4 against ASUN competition, had six first half shots, including three shots on goal, and stayed just a goal down at intermission.
EKU, now 6-7 overall and 2-3 in the ASUN, got insurance goals at the 78:38 and 83:20 marks of the second half.
Kylie Fitzgerald scored the Colonels initial goal, followed by Audrey Anderson and Gretta Gunn.

Payton Yates was under attack all day, facing 17 total shots but recording eight saves.
Katherine Laroche had four total shots for the Lions, including three on goal.
North Alabama hosts Central Arkansas at the Bill Jones Athletic Complex on Sunday at 1:00 p.m.
It will be the first meeting between the two schools since 2005 when they were both members of the Gulf South Conference.
