FLORENCE, Ala. -- South Alabama got a goal in the 18th minute and then added two goals in the second half to take a 3-0 women's soccer win over North Alabama at the Bill Jones Athletic Complex.
UNA, now 0-4-2 on the season, was limited to two shot attempts in the match, while Lion goalkeeper
Payton Yates faced 19 shots from Jaguars, with 10 attempts on goal. She recorded seven saves. Â
South Alabama improved to 3-2 on the season.
Imane Addi scored the first goal of the day at the 17:01 mark and Sydney Ham added a goal in the 65th minute and Kailey Littleford scored in the 77th minute to make it 3-0.
North Alabama continues its four-match homestand Friday when the Lions host Chattanooga at 7:00 p.m.
UNA then hosts Austin Peay pn Sunday at 1 p.m.
