At that point, he continued working with the defensive secondary, being responsible for assisting the defensive position coaches as well as the special teams coordinator during practice, and identifying opposing offensive personnel on game day. He also assisted with opponents' gameday pass game/route concepts.

In 2017, St. Felix joined the Florida staff where he worked with the assistant coaches on the defensive side of the ball, as well as with special teams. St. Felix also helped to oversee the opponents' pass game/route concepts on gameday and assisted with game planning.
