FLORENCE, Ala. -- The Singin' River Brewing, Co., has announced the launch of an addition to its line of local craft beers, with the introduction of Golden Mane.
 
University of North Alabama alumna Michelle Jones, who owns Singin' River Brewing with her husband Rob, announced the new line in order to give back to UNA and continue their support for the University. Fifty percent of the proceeds from sales of Golden Mane will benefit the UNA Athletic Department.
 
The public is invited to the Golden Mane Launch Event on September 9th at Singin' River Brewing (526 E. College St.), beginning at 4:30 p.m. There will be remarks from Rob and Michelle Jones, as well as UNA Director of Athletics Dr. Josh Looney and UNA Head Football Coach Chris Willis.
 
There will be free tasting and discounted purchases at the event, as well as official Golden Mane koozies. The initial release of Golden Mane will also be available for purchase to go.

We can't wait for the UNA alumni & friends to try Golden Mane."
 
Golden Mane will be available throughout the Shoals for UNA's Homecoming weekend, beginning September 23rd. The Huntsville/Madison release will be kicked off just in time for the UNA vs. Jacksonville State football game at Toyota Field on October 15 in Madison.
 
Singin' River and North Alabama Athletics are committed to advocating responsible drinking behaviors and environments for those of legal age. UNA Athletics, in conjunction with Singin' River and the University's Division of Student Affairs, will host a series of alcohol education and safety programs throughout the 2022-23 academic year.
