FLORENCE, Ala. --
Charlotte Kellett got the University of North Alabama on the board with an early goal but the Lions couldn't hold the lead as Lipscomb rallied for a 3-1 win in ASUN Conference soccer play at the Bill Jones Athletic Complex.
Kellett took an assist from Alice Busesey just three minutes into the match and put it in the back of the net to give UNA a 1-0 lead.
Lipscomb got the equalizer at 22:50 of the first half on a goal from Kelli Beiler and then took the lead on a Molly Grant goal just over four minutes later.
The Bisons got the only goal in the second half to make the final count 3-1.
With the loss, North Alabama is now 3-3-5 overall and 0-1-2 in the ASUN. Lipscomb improved to 5-4-1 overall and 2-0 in the conference.
The goal was the first for Kellett this season.
