FLORENCE, Ala. (October 3, 2023) – The University of North Alabama football team is on a bye week to open the month of October, which provides an opportunity for a Lion Vision Update rewind with UNA Hall of Famer and former Dallas Cowboys and Minnesota Vikings player Robert Steele.

On Friday before UNA's FCS Kickoff game in Montgomery, Ala. against Mercer, Steele spoke to the team about the topic of "toughness" and his journey as the ultimate underdog from Division II football to the NFL. Steele was the first UNA Lion to ever play in a Super Bowl when he played with the Dallas Cowboys in Super Bowl XIII against the Pittsburgh Steelers.
