FLORENCE, Ala. (November 1, 2023) – With basketball season just around the corner, the University of North Alabama Department of Intercollegiate Athletics announced its promotional schedule for the 2023-24 season on Wednesday.
 
The women's program and men's program are each scheduled to host 14 contests inside CB&S Bank Arena at Flowers Hall, including nine doubleheader dates. The slate begins on Monday, Nov. 6 with a home doubleheader, as the women host UT Southern at 5:30 p.m. and the men welcome Blue Mountain Christian at 7:45 p.m.
 
"It is an exciting time of year as we near the tip-off to the season," said UNA head women's basketball coach Missy Tiber, entering her 11th season at the helm. "We are thankful for the support of our fan base. We look forward to the many promotional events we have planned that allow us to team up with our community."
 
For the first time in UNA history, all premium basketball season tickets are sold out for the season, but general admission season tickets remain available at this link or by calling 256-765-5466 (LION).
 
"Our program is excited to get things underway at CB&S Bank Arena on Monday," said UNA head men's basketball coach Tony Pujol, who enters his sixth season with the Lions. "We have an exciting non-conference and a challenging ASUN schedule, but these players have put in the work. A huge 'thank you' to all of our sponsors, The Vault, our season ticket holders and ticket office for their support for a great promotion and involvement in our community. Lion fans, we cannot wait to see you in The Bank! Come out on Monday and Raise the Roar!"

Along with each game promotion, UNA proudly announces that the Kid's Zone presented by TreeHouse Dentistry will return to CB&S Bank Arena this year. Fan can also look forward to Free Queso at Rosie's Cantina if UNA scores 100 points or more.
 
Additionally, for every UNA win, Buffalo Wild Wings will sponsor the "Dubs for BDubs" promotion. Fans can buy six boneless wings and get six free by presenting the win graphic from social media at the Florence location.
