GULF SHORES, Ala. -- With a first round 309 team total, the University of North Alabama women's golf team is in seventh place after the opening round of the Bama Beach Bash at the Gulf Shores Golf Club.

ULM leads after the opening round with a 12-over-par 300 total in the 15-team event.

Jahnavi Prakhya leads UNA's golfers individually with a 75. She us tied for 11th. Teammate Jackie Klemm is tied for 17th at 76.

The tournament continues with single rounds on Monday and Tuesday.
