FLORENCE, Ala. (April 1, 2025) – The University of North Alabama men's tennis team was announced as the No. 72 team Tuesday morning by the International Tennis Association in this week's ITA Men's Tennis Poll.

North Alabama's Spring 2025 season continues to be a memorable one, with the Lions earning their second all-time ranking in their seven-year Division I history. UNA is rolling as the regular season coming to a close, securing two home wins in their last weekend outing against then-No. 66 Stetson and FGCU. The wins marked the Lions' first all-time victory over the Hatters and the second all-time against the Eagles.

UNA is one of two teams from the Atlantic Sun Conference to appear in the polls, with Stetson now ranked No. 75.

With eight straight wins, UNA sits at the top of the conference with a 14-3 overall record and 5-0 record in the Atlantic Sun Conference.

The Lions lead the ASUN in total wins and conference wins, holding the distinction of being the lone ASUN team undefeated in home duals. North Alabama is 8-0 in matches played at the UNA Tennis Courts. UNA also sports the best away record in the conference at 6-3, securing three more wins than the next highest in EKU with three away victories.

The No. 72 Lions prep for their final road duals of the regular season, traveling to face EKU and Queens on April 4 and 6.
