FAYETTEVILLE, Ark. (September 3, 2026) – Fresh off a season-opening win over Samford, the University of North Alabama football team will take the national stage Saturday with a meeting against SEC opponent Arkansas live on the SEC Network beginning at 3:15 p.m.
 
This will be UNA's first game against an SEC opponent since 1959 when the Lions traveled to Vanderbilt. This will also be UNA's first game against a Power Four opponent since battling No. 4 Florida State in 2023.
 
Here are the top things to know for UNA's first trip to Fayetteville, Ark.
 
1. KICKOFF: The Lions and Razorbacks will kick off at 3:20 p.m. Air time on the SEC Network will begin at 3:15 p.m.
 
2. TICKETS: The Razorback Ticket Center is open Monday-Friday from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. and is located at the Frank Broyles Athletic Center at the stadium on 350 N Razorback Rd. The visiting team seating is located in section 120 in the northwest corner of the stadium behind UNA's sideline. The official Arkansas ticket website can be accessed here.

3. PARKING: Public and reserved parking is available all around the stadium. There are also shuttle services located in select public and reserved parking lots. 4. OFFICIAL WATCH PARTY: For road football games this season, Mugshot's Grill & Bar in downtown Florence is the official watch party location of UNA Athletics. For fans not making the trip to Arkansas, head to the Florence location on 321 N Court St.
 
5. BACK ON NATIONAL TELEVISION: Saturday's game will be nationally-televised on SEC Network with Dave Neal and Cole Cubelic in the booth and Tori Petry on the sideline. This will be UNA's fourth nationally-televised game in the last four seasons, including two games on ESPN for the FCS Kickoff in 2023 and 2024. UNA also played on The CW against No. 4 Florida State and helped break six-year prime time records for the network.
 
6. UNA IN TV GAMES: Not including ESPN+, the Lions have played a regionally or nationally televised football game 55 times since 1980. This includes five games on the ESPN flagship station. Saturday will be UNA's first time on the SEC Network. UNA has a 32-23 record in televised games, seeking its first televised win since 2016.
 
7. LISTEN ON ROAR LIONS PRODUCTIONS: For a second straight season, the Lions are on the fastest growing digital radio platform in college football, The Varsity Network. Fans can listen free of charge to all UNA football games on the Varsity Network app or on roarlions.com/watch. The "booth cam" broadcast is also available on the UNA Athletics Facebook, X, YouTube and Twitch pages. "Voice of the Lions" Benjamin Ray and Bryan Neece will be in the booth, while Chase Glover will serve as the pregame and halftime host and sideline reporter. 8. SERIES HISTORY: Saturday will be the first meeting between UNA and Arkansas. This will be the second time UNA has played a team from the SEC with the first coming in 1959 at Vanderbilt. The Commodores won that game 42-7 in Nashville.
 
9. THE LEGENDARY ARKANSAS STREAK: From 2005-10, UNA won 27 consecutive games against schools from the state of Arkansas. During this noteworthy streak, the Lions defeated Arkansas schools by a combined score of 1,100 to 384 for an average score of 41-14. Seven schools are included in this streak, including Central Arkansas, Southern Arkansas, Henderson State, Arkansas Tech, Harding, Ouachita Baptist and Arkansas-Monticello.
 
10. UNA FOOTBALL NIGHT AT LOST PIZZA: Fans are reminded to head over to Lost Pizza Shoals in downtown Florence on Monday nights during football season for the UNA Football Hour with Coach Brent Dearmon and select guests, including coaches and student-athletes. The show begins at 7 p.m. and will air on 93.9 FM The Score and on all Roar Lions Productions outlets. The show will also air live inside Lost Pizza.
 
Fans — please note there will not be a show on Monday, Sept. 7 due to Labor Day. The show will resume again next Monday, Sept. 14 leading into the grand opening of Bank Independent Stadium.
 
11. NEW SEASON, NEW STADIUM: The 78th season of UNA football will be a memorable one with the opening of Bobby Wallace Field at Bank Independent Stadium set for Saturday, Sept. 19 at 6 p.m. against Alcorn State. UNA played its first 77 seasons off-campus at historic Braly Stadium. Now, the Lions will have their own 10,000 seat stadium to call home in the heart of campus.
