UNA 2016: Norris batted .367 for the Lions last season, going 67-for-178 at the plate in 65 games played...she was a first team All-South Region and first team All-America selection by D2CCA after totaling seven doubles, 15 home runs and 70 RBI with a .669 slugging percentage...led the team with 27 walks...was second on the team with 18 multiple-RBI games...had a 14-game hitting streak during the season...had 18 multiple-hit games, including a trio of three-hit games...posted a 3-for-4, four-RBI showing on March 6 against West Florida.

OTHER COLLEGE: She played for coach Greg Shivers at Central Alabama Community College in Alexander City...was a first team All-Region 22 selection for the Trojans...also received first team All-ACCC central division honors in 2013.

HIGH SCHOOL: She played first base for coach Shawn McDaniel at Gordo High School.

PERSONAL: Her full name is Anna Gayle Norris. She was born on August 3, 1995. She is the daughter of Richard and Melissa Norris and has one brother. She is majoring in secondary education and history at UNA.
