A native of Crestwood, Ky., Moffitt was a three-time All-American selection at UNA and four-time All-Gulf South Conference and All-South Central Region pick during her career with the Lions from 2000-03.

She was not only named to the Gulf South Conference Team of the Decade for 2000-09, but was also selected as the GSC East Division Player of the Decade. Moffitt led UNA to a 135-19 combined record from 2000-03. That record included three Gulf South Conference championships (2000, 2001, 2002), four straight NCAA Tournament appearances (2000-03), two Division II Regional Championships (2000, 2003) and the school’s first NCAA Division II National Championship in a women’s sport (2003).

The Lions had records of 40-3, 32-4, 30-5 and 33-7 during Moffitt's four seasons at UNA and finished each season ranked in the NCAA Division II Top12. UNA was No. 6 in 2000, eighth in 2001, 12th in 2002 and No. 1 in 2003.  Moffitt led Division II in assists twice and set two Division II national records.

She led Division II with 14.07 assists per game in 2001 and 14.35 in 2003. She was also ranked fifth in the nation as a freshman with 13.44 and ninth in the nation as a junior with 13.34. As a freshman in 2000 she was selected first-team All-GSC, All-GSC Tournament, first-team AVCA All-South Central Region, AVCA South Central Region Freshman of the Year, All-South Central Region Tournament, first-team Daktronics All-South Central Region and third-team Daktronics All-American. In 2001 she was first-team All-GSC, All-GSC Tournament, earned a GSC Player of the Week award, was first-team AVCA and Daktronics All-South Central Region, All-South Central Region Tournament, earned an AVCA National Player of the Week honor and was second-team Daktronics All-American.

As a junior in 2002 she was again first-team All-GSC, All-GSC Tournament and first-team AVCA and Daktronics All-South Central Region.  In 2003, Moffitt was first-team All-GSC, All-GSC Tournament, earned two GSC Player of the Week awards, an AVCA National Player of the Week honor, was first-team AVCA and Daktronics All-South Central Region, All-South Central Region Tournament,  third-team AVCA All-American and first-team Daktronics All-American. She was also UNA's co-Female Athlete of the Year for 2003-04.

During her career, Moffitt was the setter for four UNA All-Americans in Nesrin Seckin, Anna Bondarenko, Yana Ninova and Vanessa Ferretti. A 2004 UNA graduate with a Bachelor's degree in Human Environmental Sciences, Moffitt later earned an associates degree in Information Technology. She works in medical sales and is employed as a project manager for installation for products in Neonatal Intensive Care Units (NICU) across the country.
