PENSACOLA, Fla. -- West Florida scored two goals in the first 22 minutes and went to a 4-0 Gulf South Conference women's soccer win over North Alabama.
With the loss, UNA is now 4-6 overall and 3-3 in the GSC. West Florida improved to 7-3 overall and 5-0 in the GSC.
Emily Vogler scored the first goal of the match for UWF at the 5:08 mark off an assist by Kaljit Atwal. Kaly Ward then scored unassisted at 21:43 to make it 2-0. The Argonauts third goal came at 78:58 off the foot of Savanna Soares. Atwal again assisted to extend the UWF lead to 3-0. Soares also scored the final goal of the match at 87:14, unassisted.
UNA was out-shot 13-5 in the match.
