NASHVILLE, Tenn. -- With two matches left in the regular-season, the University of North Alabama will try and clinch a berth in the 2018 ASUN Conference Women's Soccer Tournament with a win at Lipscomb tonight. The match is set for 6 p.m.
The Lions enter the match with a 9-7 overall record and 3-3 ASUN mark. The nine points that UNA has earned with its three conference wins has the Lions tied for fifth with Liberty. Kennesaw State, NJIT, Lipscomb and Florida Gulf Coast have all clinched post-season spots with two remaining.
North Alabama will have two chances to claim a spot with a match tonight at Lipscomb and one Sunday at NJIT. A win in ether match would guarantee UNA a post-season berth in its first season in the ASUN and in Division I.
