FLORENCE, Ala. --
Chloe Fell scored two goals in a less than 10-minute span of the second half to lift the University of North Alabama women's soccer team to a 2-1 ASUN Conference win over Jacksonville State at the Bill Jones Athletic Complex.
After a scoreless first half, JSU took a 1-0 lead on a penalty kick by\Briana Eads at the 61:27 mark.
Fell, who had just entered the game, got the equalizer for the Lions less than three minutes later.
Olivia Anderson fed Fell the ball directly in front of the goal and she found the back of the net at 64:22 to make it 1-1.
Fell then took a penalty kick in the 75th minute to put UNA on top for good.
"It was nice to see
Chloe Fell come off the bench and get a couple of goals," said UNA head coach
Chris Walker. "She has worked so hard coming back from her injury to get to where she is now and it's good to see her get the reward.
"This was a good team win and it was great to see several of our players who came off the bench being able to play big roles in the win," Walker added. "Our subs were fantastic."
In addition to Fell, Walker singled out

Montana Merkle.
The win keeps UNA's post-season hopes alive of advancing to the ASUN Conference Tournament.
The kick, at 73:31, raised UNA to 5-6-5 for the season and to 2-4-2 in ASUN Conference play.
Jacksonville State fall to 2-11-1 overall and 0-5-1 in the ASUN.
UNA goalkeeper
Payton Yates had three saves in the win.
North Alabama out-shot JSU 15 to eight.
The Lions play at Central Arkansas on Sunday, October 16.
