CHARLOTTE, N.C. -- Queens University scored a goal on a header in the 74th minute to hand North Alabama a 1-0 loss in ASUN Conference women's soccer action.
The Lions had seven shots on goal in the match but could never find the back of the net.
Charlotte finally broke the 0-0 tie at the 73:39 mark when Sophia Muetterties headed in a corner kick from Hilda Svensson.
With the loss, North Alabama is now 3-5-5 overall and 0-3-2 in conference play. Queens improved to 2-5-4 overall.
