BRONX, N.Y. - The University of North Alabama men finished eighth in their first-ever appearance at the ASUN Conference Men's Cross Country Championships, led by a 15th place finish by senior
Justin Watson.
North Florida captured its second ASUN title in three seasons, as they won the 40th running of the ASUN Conference Cross Country Championship. The Ospreys were followed by Liberty (34), Lipscomb (75), Stetson (149), Florida Gulf Coast (151), New Jersey tech 9181), Kennesaw State (183), North Alabama (193) and Jacksonville (209).
Watson was UNA's top finisher with a time of 25:57.2, placing him 15th in a field of 71 runners. UNA's
Peyton Ewoldt was the next closest Lion runner with a time of 27:14 to finish 39th.
