The Student-Athlete Advisory Committee

The Student-Athlete Advisory Committee (SAAC) is a registered student organization and is the "voice" of Lion student athletes. It was established in 1992 to promote and represent the view, feelings, and interests of the student-athlete and to conduct community service projects. The committee is composed of two appointed members from each sport. It is an essential part of the athletic department, the University, the ASUN Conference and the National Collegiate Athletic Association. The SAAC provides the means as well as the opportunity to express views on issues that are directly related to student-athletes. Membership on the committee also provides leadership opportunities that are valuable when pursuing employment after graduation.
