MEN’S TENNIS FALLS 6-1 AT TROY

TROY, Ala., – Troy improved to 5-3 on the season with a 6-1 home victory over the University of North Alabama men's tennis team on Friday. The loss keeps UNA winless with an 0-8 record to start the season.
 
Troy posted wins at the top two doubles spots to take an early 1-0 lead. The Trojans then got straight-sets win in five singles matches to wrap up the scoring.
 
Yannick Pfleiderer provided the lone point for UNA with a 7-5, 4-6, 10-8 win at No. 4 singles.
 
UNA will remain in Troy to face USC-Upstate on Saturday. Match time is set for noon at the Lunsford Tennis Complex.
