A member of the University of North Alabama football team from 1979-82, Major Dwayne Williams died suddenly and tragically in the terrorist attack on the Pentagon on Tuesday, September 11, 2001.

Today, on the anniversary of the 9/11 attacks, we pay tribute to Major Williams for his service to our nation.
