FEDORYSHYN, BRAIN COMPETE CCB COLLEGIATE INVITE

BIRMINGHAM – Following an invitation to play at the 2022 CCB Collegiate Invite, the University of North Alabama's Nazar Fedoryshyn and Lachlan Brain had strong showings in both the doubles and singles draws.

Playing as a double pair, the duo won their first three rounds at the 12-team event that also featured teams from LSU, Tulane, Alabama and Washington. They knocked off East Tennessee's Lucas Britez and Juan Lombisano 6-4 in the opening round.

In the second round, they defeated Southern Miss duo of Taras Ignatiuk and Pawin Jirapoomdaje 7-5. In the third round, they recorded a 6-4 win over Louisianna-Lafayette's Grant Landreth and William Ribero.

In singles play, Fedoryshyn won the back Houndstooth draw. He knocked off LSU's Will Cubit 6-1, 7-5 in the finals.
