UNA’S FLOYD NAMED ASUN PLAYER OF THE WEEK

ATLANTA, Ga., – The University of North Alabama volleyball team picked up an ASUN Conference weekly award for the second consecutive week as league officials tabbed Taylor Floyd as the ASUN Player of the Week on Monday.
 
The outside hitter from Louisville led UNA in kills (51) and digs (51) while playing all six rotations. She added three blocks, a service ace and a .224 hitting percentage as the Lions posted a 3-1 record on the week.
 
After UNA defeated Alabama State 3-1 at home on Wednesday, the Lions went 2-1 at the Morehead State Comfort Inn-Vitational. Floyd was named to the event's all-tournament team.
