FLORENCE, Ala. (December 4, 2023) – North Alabama Women's Basketball returns home to CB&S Bank Arena inside Flowers Hall on Tuesday for a midweek matchup with the visiting Fisk Lady Bulldogs at 6 p.m.
The Lions return home following a 70-57 loss at Alabama A&M to close the month of November, marking the first win in series history for the Bulldogs.

Parking is available to the general public along the streets of Circular Road and Stewart Avenue, as well as the parking lot in front of Rice and Rivers Hall and the parking garage. SCOUTING THE LADY BULLDOGS: Located in Nashville, Tenn., Fisk competes at the NAIA level in the Gulf Coast Athletic Conference (GCAC), having originally joined in 2010 and rejoining in 2021. In its last outing, Fisk defeated Tougaloo College on the road by a score of 80-60. They are 3-5 on the season, with a 1-1 record in the GCAC.
SERIES HISTORY: North Alabama and Fisk have matched up in women's basketball five previous times — four in the Division II era and once in the Division I era last season. The Lions have a 5-0 record against Fisk. In the last meeting on December. 4, 2022, North Alabama secured a 89-61 victory at home.
CALLINS, CHARLTON EARN WEEKLY ASUN HONORS: Alexis Callins and Veronaye Charlton were named ASUN Player of the Week and Freshman of the Week, respectively, on Monday, Nov. 27. Callins set a career-high in points with 27 against UT Martin on Nov. 21 and followed up the performance by scoring 23 against UTEP. Charlton scored 21 points with 10 assists at UTEP for her first-career double-double. This marked both players' first time receiving those honors.
LEADERBOARD LIONS: North Alabama Women's Basketball continues to make their mark early with multiple Lions in the top five of certain categories in the ASUN Conference. Callins is a top-five scorer in the ASUN, averaging 16.4 points per game which places her in the fourth spot. Callins is also third in field goal percentage (45.1 percent), fifth in three-point field goal percentage (32.1 percent) and third in three-pointers made per game (2.6). Charlton is fourth in free-throw percentage (81.8 percent), and senior guard Sara Wohlgemuth is first in assists per game (5.3) and third in assist/turnover ratio (1.9).
TENNESSEE TRIUMPHS: With a win on Tuesday, UNA can become 3-0 against schools from Tennessee this season. In the two wins against UT Southern and UT Martin, the Lions have averaged 80 points, shooting 45.8 percent from the field and 40 percent from the three-point line. North Alabama looks to extend the streak against Tennessee schools to three games and to add a third home win.
