Box Score CONWAY, Ark. – The University of North Alabama women's basketball team took a 21-7 lead after the first period and never looked back as the Lions routed Central Arkansas, 75-42 in ASUN Conference play.
The Lions led 36-19 at the half and 63-34 after three quarters before closing the game with a 33-point advantage.
With the win, North Alabama is now 12-14 overall and 7-8 in ASUN Conference play. Central Arkansas falls to 8-18 overall.
Freshman
Emma Kate Tittle led five Lions in double-figures with 16, while
Alexis Callins had 12,
Skyler Gill 11 and
Jade Moore and
Cameron Jones 10 each. Gill finished with a double-double, adding 10 rebounds.
UNA held the Sugar Bears to 29.4 percent from the floor and forced 15 turnovers. UCA was just one-of-five on three-point attempts.
UNA will host Jacksonville at CB&S Bank Arena on Thursday at 6:00 p.m.
