First Southern Bank Homegrown Series: Emma Kate Tittle and Chloe Siegel

FLORENCE, Ala. (January 25, 2024) – This month's "Homegrown Series" spotlight presented by First Southern Bank is former Deshler High School standouts and current UNA Women's Basketball student-athletes Emma Kate Tittle and Chloe Siegel.

They are interviewed by UNA Baseball's Dominick McIntyre.

Tittle is in her second season at UNA as a sophomore, while Siegel is in her first season as a freshman. Last season, Tittle played in 30 games with 13 starts, averaging 7.5 points per game with 41 three-pointers made. This season, Tittle has appeared in 12 games, while Siegel has played in seven. Siegel has posted a pair of double-digit scoring games, including a career-high 15 points against Missouri in November.

Both Tuscumbia natives and former Deshler High School standouts, Tittle and Siegel were both coached by UNA Hall of Famer Jana Killen — the winningest coach in AHSAA Girls Basketball history. Tittle finished her career with 2,279 points, 547 assists, 484 steals and 605 rebounds in her career.

Siegel also scored over 2,000 points in her high school career and is Deshler's all-time leading scorer, helping the Tigers win the 2022 AHSAA State Championship. Almost exactly a year ago, Siegel set the national career three-point record which still stands today.
