RICHMOND, Ky. (November 21, 2024) – The University of North Alabama football team will look to end the 2024 season on a high note — and perhaps play spoiler — as the Lions come off their final bye week to travel to No. 25 Eastern Kentucky on Saturday.

7. LIVE STATS: Fans who are interested in following live stats can do so via
StatBroadcast.
8. SERIES HISTORY: Saturday will mark the third all-time meeting between UNA and EKU. The Colonels have won both meetings so far, including a 56-53 thriller in 2022 and a 32-22 win in 2023 to spoil UNA's Homecoming.
9. UNA vs. THE BLUEGRASS STATE: The Lions have a 6-5 record against the state of Kentucky, including a 5-3 record against Murray State that spans from 1954-61. In 2012, UNA hosted Kentucky Christian and won a 39-0 shutout. EKU is the third opponent UNA has faced from the state. Prior to 2022, UNA's most recent trip to Kentucky for football was a 9-6 win at Murray State in 1961.
10. WHAT'S AT STAKE: The Colonels are 7-4 overall, 5-2 in conference play and are ranked No. 25 in the Stats Perform FCS Top 25. A win for EKU would boost its chances for an at-large playoff spot, while a loss would likely end the season. For UNA, a win would allow the Lions to finish with four conference wins for the first time since 2017. UNA enters 3-8 overall and 4-3 in the United Athletic Conference. EKU has yet to lose at home this season with a 5-0 record at RKS.
