NOTES

SCOUTING THE LIONS:
UNA Men's Tennis picked up its second win of the season last time out, claiming a 4-1 road victory over the Troy Trojans. Troy struck first with the doubles point, but similar to the Belmont dual, UNA had another dominant effort in singles. North Alabama took four-straight singles courts, clinching the dual with straight-set victories. Senior Nazar Fedoryshyn, junior Lachlan Brain and freshman Satoru Nakajima picked up their second singles win, while sophomore Birtan Duran won his first singles contest.

SCOUTING UAB: The Blazers have a three-dual slate the next seven days, opening with the Lions. UAB enters 3-4 overall on the season with a 1-1 record in the American Athletic Conference, picking up its first conference win against Tulane on Jan. 29. The Blazers look to get back in the win column after dropping its last contest, 4-3, to Samford. UAB is coached by Matt Coomer.

SERIES HISTORY: The 29th all-time meeting between North Alabama and UAB, the Lions look to clinch a win against the Blazers for the first time since 1985. UNA claimed the first three wins of the all-time series – twice in 1979 and once in 1985. UAB holds a 25-3 series advantage over North Alabama.
