BIRMINGHAM, Ala. (November 5, 2026) – The University of North Alabama women's tennis team will compete in its final event of the 2026 fall season this weekend, the Samford Round Robin.  

This event is hosted by Samford in Birmingham, Ala. from Nov. 6-8, featuring a round-robin format.  

Last time out, the Lions earned 19 wins at the second annual UTR Tennisfest. Senior Emma Ansorge led the team with a 5-1 record on the weekend.

Friday, November 6 

• Doubles – Samford vs. Troy; JSU vs. UNA – 10 AM 

• Singles – Troy vs. JSU – 11 AM 

• Singles – Samford vs. UNA – 1 PM 

Saturday, November 7 

• Doubles – Samford vs. JSU; Troy vs. UNA – 10 AM 

• Singles – JSU vs. UNA – 11 AM 

• Singles – Samford vs. Troy  – 1 PM 

Sunday, November 8 

• Doubles – Samford vs. UNA; JSU vs. Troy – 10 AM 

• Singles – Troy vs. UNA – 11 AM 

• Singles – Samford vs. JSU – 1 PM
