Women’s Tennis faces Milwaukee in midweek meeting Wednesday

Lions set for first all-time meeting vs. Panthers in Florida

DELAND, Fla. (March 24, 2026) – The University of North Alabama women's tennis team will face Milwaukee on Wednesday, March 25 in a neutral-site dual from DeLand, Fla.

The Lions continues their Florida roadtrip with a midweek matchup against the Panthers. UNA has won 11 of its last 12 duals and look to continue its run of form.

The matches will be played at the Mandy Stoll Center. The dual will have live stats available through StatBroadcast. Full results and a recap will be posted on RoarLions.com following the action, but fans can also follow along on the UNA Tennis social media pages.

SCOUTING THE LIONS:
The Lions are in search of their fifth road win of the year after falling to North Florida last time out on March 22. Junior duo Emma Ansorge and Mathilde Delaney took a doubles win from flight two against Ospreys, and freshman Sammie Schouten was victorious from flight four in singles. UNA had won 11-straight contests and tied a program record for most consecutive wins in a season prior to the North Florida loss. North Alabama has a 69.8 win rate in singles and 63.9 win rate in doubles currently on the year. Ansorge has a team-high 11-1 singles record followed by Schouten at 10-3. Senior Eeva Ristola and Delaney are tied for third with seven singles victories. Delaney and Ansorge have yet to lose in doubles this season with an 11-0 record. Ristola and freshman Farah Asaad have seven doubles victories from the top flight.

SCOUTING MILWAUKEE: The Panthers enter with a 5-8 record and looking to get back in the win column after dropping a 4-3 bout at Oakland on March 14. Milwaukee holds a 59.4 percent win rate in doubles and 43.5 percent win rate in singles. Two players lead with nine singles victories in Nadiia Konieva and Nel Van Hout. Konieva and Sara Simonova have a team-leading 10-1 record in doubles. The head coach for Milwaukee is Mark Goldin.

SCOUTING MILWAUKEE: This will be the first all-time meeting between the two programs.
