UNA 2018: Started all ten games for the Lions in 2018 and threw for 2,184 yards and 14 touchdowns...Completed 169 of 283 passes with just two interceptions...Completed 59.7 percent of his passes and averaged 218.4 passing yards per game...Rushed 97 times for 220 yards and five TDs...Led the team with 2,404 yards on total offense on 380 plays...Second leading scorer on the team with 32 points - five TDs and one two-point conversion...He led game winning, fourth quarter drives against Southern Utah, Alabama A&M, Azusa Pacific and North Greenville...In his first game with the Lions against Southern Utah on Sept. 1, he threw for 350 yards and three touchdowns and rushed for 105 yards on 15 carries with one TD in a come-from-behind 34-30 win....Completed a one-yard pass to Dexter Boykin wth 12 seconds left to give UNA the win and was honorable mention STATS LLC FCS National Offensive Player of the Week...Threw a 30-yard TD pass to Jakobi Byrd with 13:46 left in the game at Alabama A&M for a 25-20 UNA win...Led a nine-play, 64-yard drive in the final 1:16 against Azusa Pacific to set up a game-winning, 38-yard Chandler Carrera field goal as time expired for a 37-35 win...In UNA's 2018 finale against North Greenville, he led a drive that resulted in a 44-yard, game-winning field goal by Carrera with 1:24 left in the game for a 31-28 win...
    Lopez led the Lions to scores on their first offensive possessions in six of the 10 games in 2018 - Southern Utah (FG), Alabama A&M (TD), West Florida (TD), Mississippi College (TD), Jackson State (TD) and Shorter (TD)...Threw at least one TD pass in seven of UNA's 10 games, with three against Southern Utah and three against Shorter...
    Lopez threw a school record 253 consecutive passes without an interception in 2018...He threw seven passes at Southern Utah in the season-opener before being picked off on UNA’s second possession of the season...He threw 35 more passes in that game without a pick-off and he threw another 219 in the Lions next nine games. He did not throw another interception until his 14th pass of the final game against North Greenville...The previous UNA record for consecutive passes without an interception was 168 by Will Hall in 2002.
