UNA BEACH CAREER: A five-year member of the UNA beach volleyball program and has an 81-50 career record … played in 131 total matches over five seasons … ranks second for individual wins in school history with 81 … career 2-1 at No. 1, 36-20 at No. 2, 31-20 at No. 3, 12-8 at No. 4 and 0-1 at No. 5.

UNA 2024: 2024 Academic All-ASUN team selection ... finished the season with a 23-11 record in her fifth season, going 2-0 from flight two and 21-11 from flight three ... played primarily with partner Ryenne Gepford, going 20-8 on the season while 3-3 with Kaitlyn Holbrook ... helped clinch UNA’s first two program wins over Power Five opposition with third-flight wins over Oregon and Nebraska ... earned two ranked wins from the third flight against No. 16 FAU and No. 20 Texas A&M-Corpus Christi ... picked up two three-set wins in the ASUN Tournament against EKU (April 24) and Jacksonville (April 26)

UNA 2023: Posted a 25-10 record in 2023, going 1-0 at No. 1 and 24-10 at No. 2...her 22 wins with Katy Floyd as a pair ranks second best in a season in school history...selected Academic All-ASUN and was selected Lion Queen for 2023 as the top female student-athlete at the UNA Player’s Choice Awards... 

UNA 2022: Had a 15-15 record in 2022, going 0-1 at No. 1, 8-8 at No. 2, 5-6 at No. 3 and 2-0 at No. 4 … played 29 of those 30 matches paired with Catie Ladner … that pair had a 15-14 record for the most wins of any pair on the team … Martin went 0-1 at No. 3 paired with Martha McLaurin.
 
UNA 2021: Had a 12-9 record in 2021, going 2-0 at No. 3, 10-8 at No. 4, 0-1 at No. 5 … went 12-8 paired with Catie Ladner, going 2-0 at No. 3 and 10-8 at No. 4 … went 0-1 with Samantha Shafer at No. 5.
 
UNA 2020: Martin saw action in 11 matches as a true freshman for UNA ... she posted a 6-5 record on the year ... went 3-3 at No. 3, 2-2 at No. 2 and posted a 1-0 record at No. 1, closing out the season with a two-set victory over Morehead State … went 6-5 with Ava Carnley.  

HIGH SCHOOL: She played indoor volleyball at Hoover High School for coach Chris Camper ... was an outside hitter and libero for the Class 7A Buccaneers, who finished in Top 5 of the state tournament in each of her last three seasons ... also lettered in basketball ... also played for the Birmingham Beach Volleyball Club.

PERSONAL: Full name is Mackenzie Jean Martin … Daughter of John C. and Patricia W. Martin … Birthday is May 24 and has a twin sister, Madelyn … Majoring in exercise science.
