Biography

UNA 2015-16: Kostelc saw action in 15 games as a true freshman for UNA in 2015...she averaged just over 13 minutes per game and scored 60 points and pulled down 26 rebounds...was 18-of-60 (30 percent) from three-point range...also had three assists, one blocked shot and three steals on the season...scored a season-high 12 points on Dec. 17 in a home game against Lee.

HIGH SCHOOL: She prepped at Winfield City High School for coach Joseph Wilson…helped lead the Lady Pirates to a pair of area titles…scored more than 1,000 career points and received tournament MVP honors at the conference and county levels…was a Class 3A All-State honorable mention at guard…averaged 16.4 points, 5.2 rebounds, 2.9 assists and 3.2 steals per game.
 
PERSONAL: Her full name is Katelyn Ciara Kostelc. She is the daughter of Chris and Teresa Kostelc. She was born on September 25, 1996 and has one sister, Kelcey. She is majoring in fitness management at UNA.
