Biography
UNA 2018-19: Coulson played in all 30 games for the Lions last season...she averaged 8.8 points and 6.5 rebounds in just under 30 minutes per contest...was 88-of-222 from the floor, including 18 three-pointers...made 69-of-101 free throw attempts...dished out 83 assists and added 13 blocked shots and 26 steals...reached double figures in scoring 13 times, including a career-high 18 points on Nov. 24 against Southeast Missouri State.
UNA 2017-18: She saw action in 22 games on the year with one start...averaged 5.6 points and 5.0 rebounds per game...shot 40.7 percent from the floor and went 35-of-54 from the free throw line...had 53 assists with 24 steals and nine blocked shots...scored a season-high 17 points and pulled down eight rebounds on Feb. 3 to lead the Lions to a 78-72 win at No. 10 Lee.
OTHER COLLEGE: She played her freshman season at Lawson State Community College in Birmingham...averaged 10.3 points and 6.3 rebounds in 29 games for the Cougars...reached double figures in scoring 13 times, including the final four games of the season.
HIGH SCHOOL: She played at Lee-Huntsville for coach JT Silas...was a Class 6A second team All-State selection by the Alabama Sports Writer' Association...led the Generals to a 23-11 record as a senior, also lettered in track and field and was the starting kicker on the varsity football team where she earned second team all-city honors.
PERSONAL: Her full name is Kenysha Alexandra Coulson. She is the daughter of Kristi Coulson and Mark Green. She was born on November 28, 1997 and has four siblings, Alexis, Markisha, Jalen and Monique. She is majoring in nursing at UNA.
