2024 Beach Volleyball Roster
Biography
UNA 2024: Finished her first season with the Lions at 14-19, playing from the third, fourth anf fifth flight... went 1-1 from flight three, 8-16 record from flight four and 5-2 from flight five ... played with partners Kaitlyn Holbrook (7-13 record), Martha McLaurin (3-4) and Jelena Girod (4-2) throughout the season ... earned her first UNA win on Feb. 23 over Southeastern Louisiana with partner Girod from flight five, 21-19, 21-19 ... helped clinch UNA’s first two program wins over Power Five opposition with wins over Oregon and Nebraska
COLLEGE: Transferred to UNA after spending her first year at Central Arkansas under Head Coach Cassidie Stabile
HIGH SCHOOL: Played indoor volleyball at Northwest Guilford High School under Nancy Everett as a six rotation middle hitter… was the only freshman to play during her first year... was on varsity all four years only... team won conference three out of her four years... won the Metro 4A Conference all four years...academic honors include the A/B Honor Roll all four years with a CTE certification.
PERSONAL: Birthday is January 21 … daughter of Gerry and Carolyn Austin and has two siblings… majoring in Exercise Science.
