Biography

HIGH SCHOOL: Played at Winston County High School under coach Tiffany Cole…played as both outside hitter and setter…Lady Jackets were state runner-up in 2016 and 2018, reached state final four in 2017 and 2019, won area championships in 2016, 17 and 18 and won regional titles in 2017 and 2018…selected all-county and all-area tournament in 2017, 2018 and 2019…Class 2A All-State Tournament in 2018 and named to the Northwest-Alabamian team in 2018 and 2019…closed her career with over 1,000 kills…played basketball for four years and was in the Beta Club from 2016-19…played for the Netforce Volleyball Club from 2017-19, a member of the Netforce Volleyball Club National Team in 2017 and 2018 and helped lead the Smith Lanke Junior to a fourth place finish in the regional tournament in 2015.
 
PERSONAL: Daughter of Amy and Rodney Blackwood and has one brother and one sister…majoring in Elementary Education.
