Anna Woods joined the University of North Alabama athletic training staff in March 2023 as an assistant athletic trainer. She is the sport contact for women's soccer and women's tennis and has worked with other sports during her time at UNA.

Prior to UNA, Woods served as a certified intern athletic trainer at Auburn University as the contact for women's soccer and gymnastics. She also worked at two other SEC schools, Ole Miss and Arkansas, assisting with men's and women's basketball at Arkansas as a Master of Athletic Training student in 2020. She held the same role with Ole Miss doing women's soccer in 2021, while also doing Gatorade Camps. Woods worked with Arkansas again in 2021 and 2022, finishing her master's degree while working with the baseball and women's soccer programs.

As part of her master's program, Woods worked directly with Siloam Springs High School in Spring 2021 covering basketball, spring football, baseball, softball, men's and women's soccer and track. She also provided medical services for the Hogeye Marathon in Fayetteville, Ark. in 2020.

Woods is a licensed athletic trainer in Alabama with BOC certification and CPR/AED certifcations. She is an active member of the National Athletic Training Association (NATA) and is trained in many other areas related to health. She owns a bachelor degree from the University of Memphis and a master's degree from the University of Arkansas. She began working on a psychology degree from UNA in 2025.
