Marcus Cooper joined the North Alabama Athletics ticket office in January 2026 as a ticket operations and sales coordinator through UNA's partnership with Taymar Sales U.
Cooper comes to UNA from IMG Academy, where he had served as a recruiting coordinator since August 2024. He was involved in recruiting high-end athletes and assisting their recruiting process through NCSA College Recruiting. He also worked as a sales representative with Alta Marketing Group in 2022.
Cooper completed his bachelor's degree from Eastern Kentucky University in 2024, where he majored in sport management. While at EKU, he worked as a marketing intern with the athletic department, helping improve fan engagement by creation of graphics, season ticket sales and planning of promotions and athletic-related university events. He also worked as an intramural sports supervisor from 2021-2023.
Prior to EKU, Cooper was a football student-athlete at Glenville State, a member of the Gulf South Conference. He played from 2019-2021. In high school, Cooper was a standout wide receiver and was selected to the 2019 US National Football Team as a representative from the state of West Virginia.
Cooper is originally from Burnsville, West Virginia.
