Paul Moore II joined the University of North Alabama Athletic Department in July 2026 as an assistant strength and conditioning coach. He will work directly with the football and baseball programs.
Moore comes to UNA from Oregon State, where he served as a strength and conditioning intern since January. Prior to that, Moore worked as an assistant strength coach at Performance Edge following an intership with William and Mary. He was a graduate assistant at Indiana University of Pennsylvania (IUP) for the 2024-25 season and had internships with Penn State and Virginia Tech prior to that.
Moore completed a bachelor's degree from Radford University in 2023 while majoring in exercise science. He later completed his master's degree from IUP in 2025 with a focus in strength and conditioning.Â
As a student-athlete, Moore played two seasons for the Radford Highlanders baseball team. He played in 79 games with 67 starts, primarily in right field. He totaled 53 hits over his career and ranked third on the team in batting average his senior season. Prior to Radford, he played two seasons at JUCO powerhouse Walters State where he hit .385 as a freshman and .355 as a sophomore.
Moore is a Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist (CSCS) and has his American Red Cross CPR, First Aid and AED certifications. He is originally from Ashburn, Virginia.
