In January 2025, the University of North Alabama Department of Athletics promoted alumnus Ryan Adams to the position of Director of Athletic Facilities and Events.
Adams joined the North Alabama Athletics staff in August of 2022 as a graduate assistant for facilities and event operations. He was later promoted to a full-time assistant position in 2024. His sports responsibilities included football, soccer, golf, men's and women's basketball, baseball, and beach volleyball. After years of success at UNA, Adams was promoted to the director seat.
While a student at UNA, Adams worked as an intramural sports official (2017-18) and as a game operations intern for athletics (2019-21). Adams graduated from the University of North Alabama in December 2021 with a Bachelor's degree in sport management and marketing.
The North Alabama native now resides in Florence and is an avid fan of the Tampa Bay Rays and the 2023 NBA Champion Denver Nuggets. He and his wife, Bryanna, married in April 2024.
