Yoni Eligberg joined the University of North Alabama athletic training staff in 2025. Eligberg primarily works with the men's tennis and football programs.
Eligberg began his athletic training career observing at the University of Vermont in 2020, then did his senior capstone with the athletic training staff at Saint Michael's College in Vermont in 2022. His clinical practicum began at the University of North Dakota in Summer 2023 and went through Spring 2025. Eligberg worked primarily with women's soccer, football, men's and women's tennis, men's and women's golf, men's and women's cross country and track, volleyball and men's and women's basketball over those two years at UND.
Now in the Shoals, Eligberg works with Encore Rehabilitation to assist the University of North Alabama.
Eligberg graduated with a Bachelor of Science in Nursing & Health Sciences from Vermont in 2023 and obtained a Master's degree in Athletic Training from North Dakota in 2025. He is a member of the National Athletic Trainers' Association (NATA) and is a certified athletic trainer in the state of Alabama. Eligberg has a BLS Certification as well as Adult Mental Health First Aide and QPR Gatekeeper Certifications from Haugen Performance Consulting, PLLC.
