WEST FLORIDA HANDS LIONS FIRST HOME LOSS

FLORENCE – Corisha Smith hit .463 and had 22 kills to lead West Florida to a 3-1 victory over North Alabama Friday evening in Gulf South Conference volleyball action. The 24-26, 25-23, 18-25, 26-28 loss was the first of the season for the Lions at Flowers Hall. It also bumped the Lions out of first place in the GSC standings.

With one regular-season match remaining, West Florida and Shorter are tied for first place with a 16-3 league record.
