FLORENCE, Ala. --
Logan Carter was two-for-four with three runs scored and three runs batted in and
Kyle Hubbuch and
Brandt Holland added three hits and two RBI each as the University of North Alabama rolled to a 12-1 win over Alabama A&M at Mike Lane Field.
UNA got two runs in the first inning and two in the third before the Bulldogs got on the board with a run in the sixth. The Lions answered with a seven-run bottom of the sixth and added a single run in the eighth for the 12-1 win.
North Alabama out-hit A&M 12 to seven and the Bulldogs committed seven errors.
With the win, UNA improves to 10-5, while Alabama A&M is now 3-7.
UNA starter
Lane Wallace (2-2) got the win, allowing no runs on four hits over four innings. He walked one and struckout five.
Shane Priest pitched three innings, allowing one run on two hits with five strikeouts.
Dylan Stewart and Channing then each pitched a scoreless inning of relief.
UNA's seven-run sixth inning was highlighted by a three-run home run by Carter.
North Alabama plays a three-game Gulf South Conference series at West Florida Saturday and Sunday in Pensacola.
