FLORENCE, Ala. – The University of North Alabama baseball team claimed its fifth straight Gulf South Conference series win Sunday with a 13-5 victory over West Alabama. The Lions and Tigers had split a double-header on Saturday and Sunday's win keeps UNA in first place in the GSC at 11-4 in league play.
North Alabama is 16-9 overall. West Alabama is now 17=9 overall and 9-6 in the GSC.
Devan Traglia (4-0) got the win for UNA, scattering four runs on 11 hits over six complete innings. He walked two and struckout three. Meanwhile, the UNA batters scored in six of the eight innings, including putting up three runs in the first inning and four in the second for a commanding 7-1 lead.

Brandt Holland Peyton Sockwell led UNA with two hits each.
Davis Elliott and Lockett scored three runs each and Tucker and Holland added two runs each.
Dylan Stewart pitched two innings in relief of Traglia, allowing one run on one hit with one walk and two strikeouts.
Channing Wall pitched a scoreless ninth inning, allowing one hit and striking out one.
North Alabama host Auburn-Montgomery on Tuesday at 5 p.m. at Mike Lane Field.
