FLORENCE, Ala. – Trevecca Nazarene scored at least one run in every inning as the Trojans posted a 19-9 win over North Alabama at Mike Lane Field.
Trevecca built a 6-0 lead over the first four innings before UNA got two runs on the board in the bottom of the fourth. The Lions then added two runs in the fifth, two in the seventh and three in the eighth but couldn't keep pace with the Trojans.
Trevecca's 19 runs came on a combination of 20 hits, 10 walks and four North Alabama errors. UNA had 15 hits in the game. The 19 runs scored by Trevecca were the most allowed by a UNA team since 2010.
With the loss, UNA is now 11-7 overall, while Trevecca improved to 7-8.
Garret Gillum (0-1), the first of six UNA pitchers to throw in the game, took the loss after allowing five runs on five hits over two innings with three strikeouts.

Jonathan Cook,
Nick Cummings and
Jacob Laws also pitched all each allowed at least one run.
Kyle Hubbuch led UNA's offensive effort, going three-for-five with a run scored and two runs batted in.
Peyton Sockwell and
Ridge Watson homered for the Lions.
UNA is scheduled to host a three-game Gulf South Conference series against Shorter this weekend but dates may change due to projected rain on Saturday.
