FLORENCE, Ala. -- The University of North Alabama will host its first men's golf tournament as an NCAA Division I program on March 25-26 when a 13-team field will compete in the the 2019 UNA Spring Classic at Turtle Point Yacht and Country Club in Killen.
The tournament was originally scheduled to be played at the RTJ Shoals Schoolmaster Course but was moved due to excessive rain in recent weeks.
North Alabama will have two teams competing in the event and will host Loyola Chicago, Southeastern Louisiana, IUPUI, Depaul, Valparaiso, Jacksonville State, Troy, Murray State, Morehead State, Belmont and Stetson. Memphis will also have players competing as individuals.
The teams will play 36 holes after a shotgun start on Monday and will follow with a final 18 holes on a shotgun start Tuesday.
