On Sunday, Bond was 10-of -14 from the floor, including a trio of three-point baskets. The sophomore from Murfreesboro, Tenn., scored nine points in the first half as the Lions took a 34-31 lead into the break.

The Texas held a 22-15 lead with 6:06 remaining in the second quarter before UNA closed the half on a 19-9 run. Bond scored the final seven points of the period for the Lions, including a three-pointer at the buzzer to give North Alabama the three-point lead.

UNA extended its lead in the third quarter, outscoring an opponent in the period for the first time this season. Bond scored 11 points in the frame as the Lions used a 17-13 spurt to take a 51-44 lead heading into the final stanza.
